Dr. Stewart Hardlypie

You might be wondering what this is, and where it came from. Well, I’m going to tell you. At least, I’ll give you a fascinating yet cryptic summary. I do my best, you know.

Once upon a time, there was an Administrator. She built a website called PsycHumor.com, and with her merry band of clinicians — A Good Doctor and four Therapy Dogs, as well as a Cartoonist with less-than-sane ideas about illustration — embarked upon a journey to make amusement for the most particularly mentally unique of The Internet’s denizens.

That was a long time ago, and although there is no current representation of the original Website (and subsequent versions), the most clever readers know where to find it. Looking back recently, we all felt rather proud of ourselves.

But it’s a new era now! Prior content has been gathered into a Great Project, and so here begins a Corresponding Project: the emergence of the Good Doctor from his quiet rest and a new batch of non-sequitur Days in the Life for your perusal and enjoyment.

If you have not been reading all along, you will find out all about our Good Doctor Hardlypie, disabled psychologist and semi-retired alienist, his pack of Therapy Dogs and his (only slightly) more human family members, as well as the Clinic at large. There’s so much to explain, but I promise you it will soon become clear.

As for the Great Project… well, you’ll hear more about that soon enough!
